Hilos Sagrados is inspired by my journey through healing, awakening and prayer, as I connected with ancestral remembrance and translated these stories and experiences into music and melodies. This album holds energies and messages from my bloodlines, studies and walk upon the sacred Red Path, oriented within the Seven Directions, following the cycles of the Moon and rhythms of the Earth, all while continuously healing within the nourishing embrace of the Earth’s medicines.

This name, which means 'Sacred Threads,' holds the prayer and intention that is this album. Each song is a different thread of my journey, and this album is the story of how all eleven of these threads are woven together, within me and within the Web of Life.

I give thanks to Great Spirit for supporting me upon this Sacred Path, and affirming my trust in the workings of the Mystery, allowing me to surrender to the guidance of the music, trusting it to lead me to this manifestation.

I give great thanks to my Ancestors whose presence continues to grow and take form, within me, as I uncover the messages within my bloodlines and walk with this wisdom as my compass. This journey of remembering and reclaiming my ancestral traditions has led to the inner rootedness and grounding which I needed, to plant the seeds of this prayer and grow this Album of my Dreams.

To my elders, teachers and the many lineages and traditions I’ve had the privilege of learning from and studying within, thank you. My life is forever changed and enriched by the wisdom and healing I’ve received within these sacred spaces. I am committed to a life in dedication to these ways, with healing and prayer at the innermost center, while doing my part in amplifying the voices of those whose teachings are necessary for the planet’s sustainability and future.

Endless gratitude for my time, experiences and studies within the traditions of the Native American Church, Mexica, Lakota, Huni Kuin, Yawanawa, Mestizo, Wixárika, Candomblé, Umbanda, Putumayo, Ciranda and the Yogic Traditions.

May the prayers within these songs touch your heart and inspire your walk within this sacred Web of Life.
